Sur Add Page Numbers

The Add Page Numbers tool stamps page numbers onto every page of your PDF in seconds. Choose the format - plain numbers, "Page 1" style, or "1 / 10" style - plus the position and the number to start from.

How to use: 1) Upload your PDF. 2) Pick a number format, position (top or bottom, left/center/right) and starting number. 3) Click Add Page Numbers and download.

Why number PDF pages? Page numbers make long documents navigable - reports, ebooks, contracts and theses all need them for referencing ("see page 12"). Scanned documents and merged PDFs usually arrive without numbers; adding them takes seconds and makes the file look instantly more professional.

Private by design: Numbering runs entirely in your browser via pdf-lib - your file never leaves your device.

FAQs: Can I skip numbering the first pages? Use the "start from" setting to offset the count, e.g. start the cover at 1 or begin numbering at 3. Does it change my layout? No - numbers are drawn in the margin area; your content is untouched. Can I pick the style? Three formats are offered: 1, 2, 3... / Page 1, Page 2... / 1 of 10, 2 of 10...

How to Use Add Page Numbers: Step by Step

1. Select the PDF file that needs page numbers.
2. Choose where the numbers should appear — bottom center, corners, or your preferred spot.
3. Pick a starting number if the document continues from a previous section.
4. Click apply to stamp numbers on every page.
5. Download and scroll through to confirm the sequence is correct.

Pro Tips

• Numbered pages make long documents far easier to reference in meetings and reviews.
